This cocktail dress is from Yves Saint Laurent's 1983-84 F/W Rive Gauche collection. It was featured on that season's runway and photographed by Helmut Newton for the ad campaign. Made in France of a black crepe, it slips over the wearer's head. Perfect for a classy event you have coming up 

Size: Very stretchy dress, able to fit a range of sizes.
Label says 38; fits sizes 6-12 comfortably. 
Model is a size 6-8.

Measurements: Relaxed Bust 36cm  x Bust to hem 97cm x Shoulder to hem 120cm 

Condition: Overall very good, but there are subtle signs of wear, see below:
Minor hole on back right strap.
Minor stitch repair on front left strap.
Subtle signs of wear on skirt.
