How do I shop with Donna Forbes Vintage?

You can visit us in-store at our Darlinghurst showroom, at 179 Palmer St Darlinghurst, Between Tuesday- Saturday!

Prefer to shop from home? Our online store is available anytime, with convenient click-and-collect available from our showroom.

We also offer personalised styling sessions every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, which is a dedicated, one-on-one experience designed to refine your style and help you discover pieces you truly love.

How do I know if the item will fit me?

All of our pieces are measured flat lay to provide the most accurate sizing possible. We recommend carefully checking the listed measurements and comparing them with a similar garment you already own to ensure the perfect fit for your vintage treasure.

How do our condition categories work?

We carefully select and inspect every piece to ensure its quality and authenticity. Our condition categories give you a clear sense of each item’s story:

Excellent – Impeccable, like-new condition. Minimal to no signs of wear.

Good – Gently worn, well-cared-for, with subtle character marks.

Fair – Visible signs of wear, minor imperfections, but full of vintage charm.

Signs of Wear – Distinctly pre-loved, showing natural wear that tells its story.

Every listing includes detailed photos, flat lay measurements and notes, allowing you to shop with confidence.

What should I know about product descriptions?

Many of our items are vintage, and this is highlighted in their product titles. As vintage pieces, they have a unique charm but also come with inherent qualities that may include wear, patina, or other signs of age.Please note: Due to the delicate nature of many vintage items, they may require extra care when handling. While we do our best to accurately describe each item, including any notable flaws or wear, all pieces are sold "as is."

Vintage items can be more delicate than newer products, so please treat them with extra care. We are not responsible for any damage that may occur from improper handling or care.

Are your designer items authentic?

Yes, all of our items are 100% authentic. Donna personally verifies every designer piece, and many are purchased directly from the source and almost all have authenticity cards, dust bags or boxes. In addition, our team has its own thorough authenticity checks when items are uploaded online or placed on the floor, ensuring every piece meets our high standards.

Are you currently accepting items in store?

At times, we do purchase pieces directly if they are truly special and align with our collection. However, we are currently overstocked and unable to accept any items at this time.

Are you a consignment store?

No, We are not operating as a consignment store at the moment. Donna personally owns and curates all of the stock in-store, which makes the collection very special and considered.

Do you ship overseas?

Yes, we do. International shipping is calculated at checkout based on the weight of your items and your delivery country.

What is your return and exchange policy?

All sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges unless the item is significantly different from its description.If you have concerns about your purchase, please contact us within 7 days of receipt for assistance.
